This book is part of a series of books with a simple twofold objective: The first aim is to expose young people to the fact that there are many careers out there. The early section discusses diversity and distribution, the Endemic Bird Areas and Important Bird Areas, plus the general interface between birds and humans. With that said, I would purchase any book by this author because he truly has what it takes to put a good book out and keep a reader not wanting to put it down until he is finished.

. I am planning to buy the other books in the series even though they are not assigned to me, just to understand how this remarkable man came from nothing to a college professor in his life. A very well produced book, with a quality CD inside. The art in here is beautiful! I love it!
The only things that bugged me were that some of the art wasn't Loveless and that the condition of the book wasn't as good as I thought it would be.. Not the most interesting book either.
