Overall, I found the account to be a fascinating and enlightening read, and I highly recommend it for Poe fans who are curious about the man behind the tales.. I give the first story 5*'s & the rest 1 or 2 *s! I'm only giving a 3* to avoid penalizing the first story too harshly.
The first story was really well written. The text is written in aclear an readable way that make even easier to understand topics that often can be confusing. After a seductive tease in the introduction, the book spends the next 300 pages or so rehashing in a rather disjointed fashion a history of capitalism, with a little bit of social psychology and technology trends sprinkled in for good measure. I find it surely regrettable that I cannot. Amazingly, Bodzianowski made a miraculous comeback to the ring with a cutting edge prosthetic leg and a world title shot.
