This book helps teach the individual the various aspects and techniques used to draw the human figure such as the different points-of-view an artist needs to consider when drawing the human figure and "short-cuts" used by other artists. It also describes the origin of figure drawing and a brief background to its development. In short, I feel that this book helps both the beginner and the intermediate artist develop his/her techniques and styles of drawing.

An excellent read, very helpful insights to anxiety. Like Donald Knuth, author of the essential and elegant "Art of Computer Programming" books, this author has allowed a great book to become mired down in an obscure language rarely used outside of academia.

So what is really good about this book to merit four stars? Chapters 1,2, and 4 are well-written chapters on the basics, sensors, and pre-processing of remotely sensed data that is hard to find in other volumes. I don't need to pay someone to tell me to schedule a servicing of my HVAC, it's called a calender and a pen. Also, its a great source to maintain or improve the beauty. Some sadness, some loss, some humor, some love, some familiar, ambiguous landscapes that reside only in that place of Memory. I love the way she ties her books together. I looked for a basic and easy Pilates exercise system which I could do in a short amount of time and practically anywhere. My only complaint is when I bought the book I thought it
