This story contains all the elements I love to see. Unfortunately, today many of these sites are accessible only by car, but some of us hope that the railroad access will return. Then, there is chapter nine on advanced topics. Here is a very nice exposition of the basic work of Mises and a look at his life. So what?
Great attention to detail, beautiful pictures of beautiful rooms, unexpected ways to use everyday objects (or even junk!)as decoration, comprehensive text.
It's like fresh breeze - enjoy it!. Smethers has been there and knows what he's talking about. Overall, though, I think Clarence Jones does an excellent job helping us see into the vision of Dr. Widely read, he also evidently preferred solving problems "in his head" rather than via the ubiquitous pencil and paper.
The biographer also gives interesting insights into the kind of university Princeton was at the time JN entered. The pictures and illustrations tell a story by themselves. Smethers book intrigui
